Road cycling weekend in Wolfurt: fickle weather, plenty of passion

In mid-September the Triamt community met up in Wolfurt near Bregenz for a varied road cycling weekend. The miserable weather did nothing to put the Triamt riders off, and on Saturday they set out on a loop that took them all the way to Heiden on the Swiss side. Wind and rain turned the ride into a challenge, but the group got through it with plenty of motivation and team spirit.

After all that effort, everyone rewarded themselves with a sociable dinner in Bregenz, where the good food soon made the exertions of the day easy to forget.

On Sunday the weather showed its best side. In sunshine and pleasant temperatures, the second ride led through the picturesque landscape of Vorarlberg. The varied route and the impressive views made for a perfect end to the weekend.

A thoroughly enjoyable event which, changeable conditions and all, once again put the love of riding centre stage.
